Current projects are located in Zambia, including Mushindamo, Butondo, Luano and the Kasumbalesa border area.

It is a 300 MW utility-scale solar photovoltaic generation project being developed by Ogande Energies at Mushindamo.

The interconnector includes a 2,400 MW substation at the Kasumbalesa border, connected by the Luano to Kasumbalesa transmission line.
